About us

We show our working

ItsWorking is a job board that publishes the evidence behind a listing instead of asking you to take it on trust — how often the role has been advertised, how long it has been live, and when we last checked it was still there.

Why we built this

Most job boards optimise for volume — as many listings and as many applicants as possible — and leave both sides guessing what happens after "Apply". Some of those listings were never live openings at all, and nothing on the page tells you which ones. We built ItsWorking around the opposite idea: fewer, better-matched applications, and enough evidence to judge a listing before you spend an evening on it.

Every listing shows its history

Open any role and you will see how many times that employer has advertised it in that location, how long the current listing has been live, and when we last re-checked it. We do not label anything a ghost job — employers re-advertise for entirely ordinary reasons, and calling that fraud would be both wrong and unfair. We show you the facts and let you ask the question.

Skills first, always

Job titles mean different things at different companies. We match candidates against roles by the skills and experience they actually have, so a search surfaces roles that fit — not just the ones that happened to use the same words in a title.

A real application, every time

Every application carries a candidate's profile, resume and cover letter straight to the employer — not a resume dropped into an inbox that never gets opened. Status changes, messages and interview scheduling all happen in one place, so nobody's left wondering.

Fair for employers too

Employers publish a role themselves — no waiting on approval — and can message applicants directly the moment someone applies. Listing tiers affect visibility, never whether real candidate details are handed over. Candidate search is a paid tool, and it only ever returns people who chose to be findable.

Still early

ItsWorking is a young platform and we are building it in the open, feature by feature. If something is missing or not working the way it should, tell us — see Contact us — and we will take a look.

Being found, not just applying

Applying is only half of how hiring happens. Employers here search opted-in profiles and CVs by keyword, which means a candidate can be considered for a role before it goes live. That is why the profile asks for skills, qualifications and a CV rather than the bare minimum: everything you add is something a search can match on. It is opt-in, you control it, and you can switch it off whenever you like.
